The problem
Paylane had a strong product and a thin website. Its docs ranked, but nothing on the site answered the questions buyers ask before they choose an API.
When the team asked ChatGPT for the best payouts API for a marketplace, it named Flowpay and Stackfin. Paylane didn't appear on any of the ten prompts they tested.
